Blurb: i'm so sleepy rn, why am i posting this. anyways, here's my app if you want the sparknotes. as of his canon point, childe's (VAGUE SPOILERS AHEAD) gone slightly bankrupt getting duped left and right with one futile goose chase after another. did he incur debts from becoming an enemy of the state? is he just low on personal funds? maybe it's karma. anyways, he's living his best life.

Plans: i was honestly thinking he should plant turnips or carrots or something on unsuitable land and just have that not work out at all, so my condolences to whoever gets paired up with him. also: feel free to ask for bingo squares, i'm amenable.
Seeking: — people who love their family very much because he can relate. they can share anecdotes, it'll be cute. — someone to fight because he'll go stir-crazy otherwise. anyone who can challenge him regularly or someone so far out of his league that he'll be forever chasing that high is preferable. throw down with him and become a cherished friend. — anyone willing to try fishing or cooking with him would be great, since he needs pastimes that aren't a 24/7 adrenaline rush. — ngl, he needs more than a couple non-villainous friends.
Offering: — sometimes he drinks fire-water (genshin vodka), so if your character needs someone to take shots with, he can be that guy. — childe's an attentive listener. rarely, he can even be thoughtful. he's also very amicable and capable of coaxing more reticent types into opening up. — on the flipside, he's an antagonist who's done shady, shady things. although he'll be nonspecific, he won't hide this aspect of himself if pressed. i don't mind him being a source of potential conflict/bit of a wildcard in that regard. go ahead and distrust him. — and if you need someone to be a homewrecker (and not the endgame ofc) for your main pairing, hit me up. let him be the third wheel that complicates everything. melodrama doesn't even need to factor in, honestly. if you just want childe to cause problems on your farm in general, i'm here for that as well.

Anything else: i'm pretty new to genshin, lmao. i try to keep the lore and localization differences in mind (i roll with the english dub), but i haven't experienced what the old guard have, so i appreciate any input. other than that: i'm receptive to even stuff i haven't listed! if you've got ideas, we can make things work. just let me know.

Hizen here comes from sake country and drinks like a fish. He's also easy to rile up and quick to fight even if he doesn't have his weapon right now. He even comes with......... bonus bloodlust and a personality change when the fighting is good. They could probably have some chaotic CR.
sounds like they'd just enable each other and i'm down for that. childe has absolutely no chill, so if he got hizen to flip his switch, he'd also be raring to go. atm, childe only has access to his water blades power-wise, but honestly bloodlust would only motivate him. maybe they could go out for drinks after, have a ridiculous convo. it'd be nice!!
Hizen's default personality is tired, cranky, and depressed. He comes off as very low energy but it's canon that people can tell he's a killer... something about there being no light in his eyes and the air around him just feels bad to those who can tell these things. Childe could pick up on that if you want him to. Hizen is also just very open about the fact that he's killed people before. Like he'll casually drop it in conversations but in that self-hating kind of way. dfghjkl;

people who love their family very much high-five; Hisui here has a sister at home who he is ridiculously protective of and he will gladly share stuff about her. Except for the times when she's the one kicking him into shape. Maybe not those ones.
He'd also be down for a brawl but Hisui isn't as tough as his act would imply; he'd hardly be a challenge for Childe :'D ...but maybe teach him some tricks anyway so he can protect his sister, in return Hisui can share his cooking tips
perfect, they can share anecdotes! childe spoils his siblings rotten, so i think he'd enjoy hearing about hisui's perspective since childe's smack-dab in the middle of his own family.
he fights for the thrill of it, so they can just go rounds, maybe? 👀 and then round it off with a meal... childe would be receptive to cooking advice (watch him approach this like a sparring match as well).
he doesn't have quite the bloodlust that childe might, but ote's still the spirit of a weapon and craves to be used and to keep himself in shape so he's also gonna be antsy for some combat, if childe would like someone that has some noticeably inhuman stamina and strength even with the nerf...
his general position as far as what he's done in life could also be fun to explore, just because swords in general have some pretty gray-area ways of approaching their approval of someone's moral choices or not, so it'll just depend on context and all that

LBDJVSK don't worry Otegine will be able to tell, he has the ability to sense when spiritual types are around him to an extent so he'll likely just assume childe's just a really bloodthirsty human.
TALKING ABOUT STRENGTH... yeah even coming at it from what he remembers about his masters and who he considers to have a lot of strength, it's definitely gonna be a different take than mister "I fell into the abyss and all I got were these dead fish eyes" (I love childe i promise) so I look forward to if that comes up! Morality in general is always interesting for swords anyway since they can and will commit some pretty massive slaughter if it means keeping timelines in order, just how they personally feel about it can vary. u_u
