Oh my god the gallows one. /lies down That sounds like it could be very poignant.
And I have two really good ones to choose from re: imperfection/struggle. The first involves the climax of the first act and Sylvando's subsequent struggle with crushing despair and feeling of helplessness (he gets better it's fine). The second is from the second act, where he confides in the Luminary (the protag) about his falling out with his father and his worries that he could never live up to be the knight that he was expected (and wanted) to be. I'd be more than happy to do either. /eyes emoji
Hell yeah, let's have them talk on the boat too then.
I think the gallows one it is then. It sort of ties into his thing with Crowds too so... (will need a cw for state sanctioned homophobia (can tone this down to implied)/crackdown on the unacceptable arts in general/death as a heads up)
Ahhhhh I feel like Kaspar could relate to either one honestly. Kaspar's feeling of helplessness over his life trajectory and events in Groscia. And the other, his falling out with his mom/brothers over not living up to the soldier he was born and expected to be. Those feelings are Complicated.
.... so SURPRISE ME. Or I can rng it because I like them both 😭

I'll do a coin flip when we get to it in our thread! Either result will give them a good talking point I think!

I'll have a catchall that I can get a prompt up for boat things today if you don't beat me to it.
